One thing we’ve learned in doing reader polls for Garden Center Magazine is consumers -- and retailers for that matter -- can’t get enough information on organic gardening. So we know you’re going to enter a drawing for a set of eco-friendly gardening books. C’mon! All you’ve got to do is leave a comment below. Make sure you enter your e-mail address so we can notify you in case you win.
The titles up for grabs are:
“Grow Organic” by Doug Oster and Jessica Walliser
“Good Bug, Bad Bug” by Jessica Walliser
“The Green Journal” by the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
“A Gardener’s Journal” by Doug Oster and Jessica Walliser
Deadline for entries is Tuesday, June 3. Leave your comment now for the chance to win.

We almost always have something to give away to our customers. Why not take a chance at actually getting something this time?!?!

It would be very helpful in gaining any additional resources for an often confusing matter! (especially to the consumer, but as often to the retailer)

I'd love to win these!

Superficial and greenwashing information seems to abound. The whole "Green" and organic discussion is a complicated topic that deserves authenticity in making recommendations to our customers and in the policies and procedures we will elect to follow.

'Organic' used to go hand in hand with 'vegetarianism': for weirdo fringies and extremists. I'm pleased to see it's gone more mainstream as practice, but does this water down the philosophy? As a landscape designer I'd love to read more so I can educate my clients...

I would love to know the organic way, and pass the knowledge on to my kids!

I started organic gardening 20 years ago because it seemed to be the right thing to do. There wasn't much information available then. I'm glad that there is much more out there now.

We come from a long line of organic veggie growers on both sides of the family. But...there's always a whole lot more to learn.
